SEE Future Consult Delivers ArcGIS Training Programme in Sendafa

SEE Future Consult PLC recently completed a structured ArcGIS training programme for professionals working in geospatial data analysis in Sendafa. The programme was designed to build practical, hands-on skills that participants can apply directly in their day-to-day work across environmental monitoring, land use planning, and resource management.

Programme Overview

The training covered foundational and intermediate skills in ArcGIS, including spatial data management, geospatial analysis, map production, and the use of remote sensing data. Participants came from technical backgrounds across the public and development sectors, reflecting the growing demand for spatial data skills in project planning and environmental decision-making in Ethiopia.

Sessions combined structured instruction with applied exercises, ensuring participants left with not only conceptual understanding but practical proficiency. Particular emphasis was placed on workflows applicable to Ethiopian land cover data, watershed analysis, and infrastructure mapping.
